Content Producer
Turn the progress happening inside our robotics lab into clear, compelling stories people want to watch and share.
Why Origami
Join a small team building general-purpose dexterous manipulation and help show the world what real progress looks like. You’ll work inside the lab with engineers and robots, find the story in each breakthrough and failure, and shape how candidates, customers, partners, and the robotics community discover Origami.
In This Role You Will
- Plan, shoot, and edit robot demonstrations, experiments, and company stories.
- Work with engineers to turn technical progress into content that is accurate, clear, and exciting.
- Own the content calendar and publish across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
- Build campaigns around robot demos, company milestones, recruiting, and research progress.
- Turn each shoot into short videos, photography, technical posts, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Build a fast, repeatable production workflow and an organized library of footage and creative assets.
What We Hope You’ll Bring
- A strong portfolio of video, social, product, or technical storytelling.
- The ability to independently storyboard, light, record, shoot, edit, and publish.
- Strong writing and editorial judgment, with the ability to make technical ideas accessible without losing accuracy.
- Comfort working around engineers, physical robots, and unfinished prototypes.
- Genuine curiosity about robotics and an instinct for what makes a demonstration credible and memorable.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Created content for a robotics, AI, hardware, or deep-tech company.
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Blender, motion graphics, or photography.
- Built an audience or content channel and understand how formats differ across social platforms.
What to include
- Two or three videos, campaigns, or social posts you personally created.
- What you owned, who the work was for, and how you knew it was effective.
